Studio 678 will now directly handle the design work related to Point
Systems client company websites, email campaigns and print campaigns.
Michael Waters, president and founder of Studio 678, brings seventeen
years in the design, arts and music community combined with ten
years of business experience to Studio 678. In addition, from 1999
through 2003, Michael was a Project Manager at Point Systems and did
most of the media design for Point System clients. Through this new
alliance, Point Systems clients will work directly with Studio 678
thus ensuring their specific design and marketing requests are met.

Point Purchasing Certified Supplier Program (PPCSP)

Point Systems announced today its new Point Purchasing Certified Supplier Program, aimed at providing Point Purchasing users with certified suppliers who support new electronic ordering capabilities now offered in Point Purchasing.
The following are some of the benefits of participating in the Point Purchasing Certified Supplier Program:
Your supplier data is pre-loaded into new Point Purchasing installations and updates for our current Point Purchasing customers.
Participating suppliers are listed on the Point Purchasing home page, giving suppliers direct exposure to end users who then have the ability to quickly initiate B2B transactions.
Point Systems programmers will fully test B2B transactions, including order confirmations.
Point Systems will make any necessary changes/enhancements to ensure certified supplier transactions are functioning properly.
Allows end users the ability to place secure electronic orders via your website, thus achieving efficiencies for fulfilling orders.
Point Systems will provide on-going support for B2B transactions for our Support Plan customers.
The program ensures participating suppliers are compliant with new Point Purchasing xml capabilities, which allow customers the ability to place secure electronic orders via the supplier's website. These new ordering capabilities are comprised of two main components:
- Punch Out Technology
A direct link to participating supplier website is available on the Point Purchasing start page. Customers may create shopping carts on participating supplier websites. Upon "checkout", these shopping cart items are brought into Point Purchasing, populating the current requisition screen. Customers placing requisitions in this manner receive company-specific pricing as well as item availability.
- Electronic Ordering
Purchasing agents may elect to place orders electronically with participating suppliers. In doing so, the agent may receive real time confirmation the order has been received, as well as information pertinent to the order, such as estimated time of arrival, current pricing, and availability. Agents will no longer have to place orders via phone, email or fax, thus saving the supplier the expense of manual order processing.
Prior to certification, each prospective supplier is thoroughly tested by a team of programmers from Point Systems to ensure the electronic transactions are accurate. As a result, once the supplier has been certified, all that is required for Point Purchasing users to begin placing orders electronically with certified suppliers is a company-specific url, username and password (provided by the supplier).
